Duncan Castles of Yahoo Sport (h/t Metro) reported the Italy international is one of the Red Devils’ primary targets, with Ibrahimovic expected to move to the United States or China. The Swede has recently recovered from a major knee injury but will spend more time on the sidelines as he battles to find his maximum level of fitness.
Belotti is one of the most exciting forward talents in Italy, but he has struggled to find the net with consistency this season.
Last term, the striker hit 26 goals and recorded seven assists for the Turin side, but his effectiveness has decreased in recent months.

However, the Torino captain remains a world-class prospect, and with his current form in doubt, it could be the perfect time to submit an offer.
Belotti is a different type of No. 9 to Romelu Lukaku, with a playing style similar to former United attacker Carlos Tevez.
Tevez was hugely popular before his infamous transfer to Manchester City, and the Red Devils have lacked a forward who can upset opposition defenders with a pressing mentality.
The Italian would have no problem adapting to the physical nature of the Premier League, and his battling qualities would entertain the romantics at the Theatre of Dreams.
Here is the player in action:
United need a striker like Belotti, and if manager Jose Mourinho can convince the board to sanction a bid, his potential capture would be a statement of intent.
Lukaku has performed well in his opening months in Manchester, but Mourinho needs increased options in his major positions across the pitch.
Belotti’s price tag would be substantial, but the goal return would be worth it if he rediscovers his form from last year.
In other Old Trafford news, after multiple reports surrounding United’s interest in Bordeaux winger Malcom, it now appears Mourinho does not want the Brazilian.

Ciaran Kelly of the Manchester Evening News reported the Red Devils have had no contact with the French club, with two unnamed sides understood to be negotiating with the player.
The 20-year-old is having a breakout season in France, scoring seven and assisting four times in Ligue 1.
United continue to display frailties on the right-hand side of the pitch, and Mourinho requires a wing-back or winger to fill the obvious void.
Malcom fits the tactical profile of the type of player United require in January, but he is not the established star that Mourinho or the Stretford End desires.
Per Kelly, United chased Inter Milan‘s Ivan Perisic last summer but could not close a deal when it appeared the winger would find his way to the Theatre of Dreams.
