Rusev continued to fuel rumors of a WWE exit Sunday based on a comment he made on an Instagram post by Rusev Day partner Aiden English.

English posted the following photo from WrestleMania 34 on Instagram:

According to Joshua Gagnon of, the Bulgarian Brute replied, “Gonna miss you bud!”

Rusev was originally scheduled to face The Undertaker in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia on April 27, but he was replaced by Chris Jericho.

He then removed all references to WWE from his social media accounts, leading to speculation that his release is forthcoming.

Despite that, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reported Friday that everything Rusev is doing is related to a storyline.

Rusev took the pinfall at the hands of Jinder Mahal in a United States Championship Fatal 4-Way that also included Randy Orton and Bobby Roode at WrestleMania.

Despite his unflattering win-loss record, Rusev has reached an enormous level of popularity due to his Rusev Day” gimmick with fans chanting “Rusev Day” in unison on Raw and SmackDown Live as well as at WrestleMania.
