Paris Saint-Germain are said to be in the hunt for Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon and are confident of landing the player at the end of the campaign.
However, Wilson suggested PSG “have massive spending power [and] are preparing to spend big on Sessegnon.” It’s added that Fulham are aware they will find it tough to keep their prized asset given the interest in the player.
Sessegnon burst into the Fulham side last season as a rampaging left-back and caught the eye with a number of brilliant displays. This term, he’s kicked on again, excelling in a role further up the left flank and scoring 15 goals in the Cottagers’ promotion push.
As Sky Sports Statto noted, given how young Sessegnon is, that haul of goals is something special:

Ryan Sessegnon scores his 15th @SkyBetChamp goal of the season. Of the 32 players to score 15+ league goals in the top 4 divisions, only 2 are aged under 23 Diogo Jota (aged 21) Ryan Sessegnon (aged 17) https://t.co/xVHXnUMhdE
The winger looks to have the potential to become one of the finest English players of his generation, and despite playing in the second tier, it’s no shock he has attracted several juggernauts’ attention.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has given Sessegnon more freedom this season, with more responsibility to produce, and the youngster has responded. His speed, close control and excellent left foot have given many sides problems this season.
He has showcased maturity beyond his years this season. As journalist David Cartlidge noted, Sessegnon’s awareness and movement are exceptional too:

It wasn’t so much that Millwall players couldn’t catch him tonight, it’s just that Sessegnon moved into areas and space that required smart thinking.
Fulham will be hopeful of earning promotion to the Premier League this season, either by finishing in the Championship’s top two or via the playoffs. Doing so would give them a much better chance of keeping Sessegnon.
If they don’t come up, then Sessegnon would surely be on the move this summer. A Championship club would also find it difficult to turn down £50 million, the sum he is said to be valued at by the west London outfit.
Such is the hype around Sessegnon, there’s even been talk of him earning a surprise call-up to the England squad for the FIFA World Cup. Jason Burt of the Daily Telegraph feels as though the youngster is ready:

I’d take Ryan Sessegnon to the World Cup. Don’t care he plays in the Championship or is 17 or has not been in an England squad before. He’s good enough.
A move to PSG would be intriguing. While Sessegnon is a huge talent, the winger would have serious competition for a starting spot, with the likes of Neymar, Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler and Kylian Mbappe vying for spots on the flanks as it stands.
It’s clear Sessegnon has a big decision to make, though, as there will be clubs queuing up to get him on board. If Fulham are promoted, a season playing regular Premier League football at Craven Cottage would feel like an ideal step in his development.
