The San Antonio Spurs are reportedly deciding whether to offer star forward Kawhi Leonard a five-year, $ 219 million “supermax” extension after he appeared in just nine games during the 2017-18 NBA season.

On Tuesday, Ramona Shelburne and Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com reported there are “no clear answers” about whether the Spurs will make the proposal and if Leonard would accept amid lingering tensions with the team.
