Toronto Raptors star DeMar DeRozan said Wednesday that he and his teammates need to be “some assh–es” as they look to recover from a Game 1 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers in their Eastern Conference Semifinals series, per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun:

DeRozan says Raptors have to “be some assholes, grind it out” because Cleveland can’t replace Kyrie Irving’s brilliance and is now a grind it out team too.
The Raptors lost Game 1, 113-112 in overtime, though Toronto had the last shot with a chance to win. Fred VanVleet was unable to hit a three-point attempt, however, allowing the Cavaliers to wrestle away home-court advantage in the series.
