Denver Broncos running back De’Angelo Henderson emerged from a scary car crash with just bumps and bruises and became an “inadvertent hero” in the process.

Mike Klis of 9News in Denver reported the news, noting Henderson’s jeep flipped in the crash. Klis also pointed out the running back helped stop a stolen vehicle:

Henderson discussed the crash on his Instagram page and called it “the most traumatic event I’ve probably ever had to deal with.” He described how his car “T-boned” and went “airborne” and thanked the Parker Police and South Metro Fire Rescue in Parker for helping him.
