Reeves, who is 59 years old, was recognized and given the prestigious Lance Reddick Legacy Award at the 2024 Saturn Awards, which took place on Sunday at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport hotel in Burbank, California.
During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the event, Reeves, who was also nominated for the best actor in a film award, shared his heartfelt memories of his late friend and John Wick co-star, Lance Reddick, who tragically passed away at the age of 60 in March of last year.
Reeves expressed his gratitude towards Reddick for his contribution in making people fall in love with the character of John Wick.
He revealed that he once wrote Reddick a letter expressing that people loved John Wick because of the love Charon had for him.
