On Friday, a background actor sued Mia Goth, accusing him of intentionally kicking her in the head during a scene filmed last April.

James Hunter claims he suffered a concussion after being kicked by Goth while working on A24 sequel MaXXXine.

The film is the third in a trilogy of horror films directed by Ti West and starring Goth, following “X” and “Pearl” to be released in 2022.

In the lawsuit, Hunter says he was hired for a three-day job to play the role of a “dead community member.” On the first night of filming, he lay for several hours on the floor covered in fake blood and “endured ants and mosquitoes.”

The lawsuit alleges that Goss nearly stomped him on the fourth take. Hunter complained to the second assistant director, and his concerns escalated to Goss. In the next shot, Goss intentionally kicked the man in the head with her boot, according to the complaint.

After the scene ended, Hunter claimed that he was in the bathroom when Goss came in and “taunted, mocked, and belittled” Goss, daring him to do something about it.

His complaint says the fake blood got on his robe and dried, causing pain when he took it off.

The next day, the casting company informed him that production did not want him to return for the remaining two days, according to the suit.

The lawsuit accuses Goss of bodily harm and also includes claims of wrongful termination against A24, Goss, and West.
