- But her 19-year-old student at the University of Southern California, Isabella Strahan, decided to tell her own story to GMA’s Robin Roberts.

- Roberts said she had to undergo emergency surgery the next day to remove the tumor.
- Isabella has undergone 30 radiation treatments and will begin chemotherapy at Duke University in February.
- Isabella she had to undergo rehabilitation for a month and learn to walk again.
- ‘‘I’m really looking forward to this whole process being over, but I think I’m going to have to live all of this every day,‘‘ she said.
