The internet is obsessed with Beyoncé’s kids after a magazine cover. Beyoncé has had a productive week, capping it off with Essence releasing stunning images from her March/April 2024 cover shoot. The purpose of the shoot was to promote her new hair care line, Cécred, and the photos were absolutely stunning. One particular photo caught everyone’s attention, showing three generations of Knowles and Knowles-Carter women: Beyoncé’s mother Tina, Beyoncé herself, and her two daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi.
However, it turns out that the two children in the photo are actually models, according to a Facebook post from HuffPost front page editor Philip Lewis. It’s no wonder Beyoncé, known for being reserved and protective of her children, chose this path. People have always been harshly critical of her and Jay-Z’s backstory, which Jay-Z himself discussed in her previous Huffington Post article. From NBC’s rumors of Beyoncé’s surrogacy during her first child to a ridiculous change.org petition asking the Carter family to comb Blue Ivy’s hair in 2014, the madness continues. It was later shared on E-News. Most recently, the power couple faced backlash over Blue Ivy’s outfit at the Grammy Awards.
As usual, Beyoncé is now being criticized for her choices in this latest photoshoot. There seems to be an unspoken rule that you always have to say something negative about everything she does.
