Lori Harvey is gearing up to make a big splash in the modeling world. Following in the footsteps of iconic figures like Christie Brinkley, Naomi Campbell, and Martha Stewart, the 27-year-old model will be making her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as a rookie in 2024.
Her photoshoot will be featured in the magazine’s 60th anniversary issue, which will be available in May. In the recently released teaser images, Harvey looked stunning in a purple halter bikini by Monica Hansen Beachwear, paired with a chunky gold Mondo Mondo bangle, as she emerged from the waters of Mexico where the shoot took place. To make things even more exciting, Harvey will also be modeling a bikini from her own swimwear line in the upcoming spread.
Aside from being a successful model, Harvey has her own skincare company called SKN by LH. Last year, she also launched her own swimsuit line called Yevrah, which is exclusively sold at Revolve. The collection features eye-catching pieces, including one-shoulder one-pieces, twisted tops, and other stunning styles. In the photoshoot, Harvey will also be showcasing swimsuits from renowned designer brands like Dolce & Gabbana and GCDS.
When asked about this incredible career milestone, Harvey described it as a “dream come true.” She expressed her gratitude and excitement, using words like “manifested,” “surreal,” and “perfection” to capture the experience. Harvey hopes that her photos will inspire others, promoting messages of inclusion, body positivity, and the pursuit of dreams.
SI Swim editor-in-chief MJ Day echoed these sentiments, stating that Harvey embodies empowerment with her unwavering confidence.
